Hollins Named Semifinalist for Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year

Offensive lineman is also TCU's Big 12 Champions for Life representative
DALLAS -- TCU offensive lineman Kellton Hollins has been named a semifinalist for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award, the first college football honor to focus primarily on a player's leadership on and off the field.
A junior form Zachary, La., Hollins is president of S.P.A.R.K., an organization started by TCU football student-athletes to provide motivation to local youth about the importance of education and serving the community. He has also worked with Fort Worth youth through H.O.P.E. Farm, Inc., University Christian Church and TCU's Starpoint School. Additionally, he's been a regular speaker at Boys & Girls Clubs of America and to little league football teams.
While back home, Hollins donated 80 Bibles to a Louisiana youth football all-star team. When visiting South Africa, he went to an elementary school to help teach physical education classes and was part of a women's empowerment program.
Hollins was selected by the TCU football program as its 2019 Big 12 Champions for Life representative and was a nominee for the AFCA Good Works Team and Wuerffel Trophy, honoring college football's top community servant.
Former TCU linebacker and now Green Bay Packer Ty Summers was a semifinalist last season for the Jason Witten Collegiate Man of the Year Award.
