Team Notes
* TCU is in the midst of playing five out of seven games on the road.
* Over the last six seasons, TCU's 50-22 overall record and 31-17 conference mark both rank second in the Big 12.
* The Horned Frogs are now 18-16 on the road in their Big 12 history.
* TCU fell to 41-16 in regular-season games following a loss under head coach Gary Patterson.
* The Horned Frogs lost for just the fifth time in their last 19 regular-season games after an open date.
* TCU had sacks by Wyatt Harris and Ross Blacklock, giving it at least one in 73 of their last 76 games.
* Patterson is 4-4 as a head coach versus Kansas State, his alma mater. All eight meetings have come since TCU began Big 12 play in 2012.
* TCU scored for the 339th consecutive game. It's the nation's second-longest current streak and fourth all-time in NCAA history. The Horned Frogs haven't been blanked since Nov. 16, 1991, at Texas (32-0).
* TCU's team captains were Alex Delton, Cordel Iwuagwu, Trevon Moehrig and Garret Wallow. Delton and Wallow have been captains each game this season. It was Moehrig's first time being a captain.
* TCU wore a white helmet with a white jersey and white pants.
Individual Notes
Offense
* Max Duggan's 115 yards rushing on 13 attempts made him the first TCU quarterback with a 100-yard rushing game since Trevone Boykin ran for 124 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries at Kansas State in 2015.
* Duggan had a career high in rushing for the second straight game. He had 34 yards at Iowa State.
* Duggan had the three longest carries of his career with runs of 18, 24 yards and 46 yards.
* Duggan had three carries for 72 yards, including a career long run of 46 yards for a touchdown, on TCU's 5-play, 75-yard third quarter scoring drive. He also had a 5-yard completion to give him 77 yards of offense on the drive.
* Duggan was 16-of-29 passing for 132 yards. He now has 142 attempts on the season without an interception, the second-longest streak in TCU history. It trails only Jeff Ballard's 154 attempts without a pick in 2006. Duggan has nine touchdown passes on the season.
* Taye Barber had a 13-yard reception on TCU's second play from scrimmage for his first catch of the year. He had been limited by injury to brief appearances in two games this season. Twenty-one of his 32 catches last year went for a first down or touchdown.
* Barber finished with four receptions for 37 yards.
* Jalen Reagor had season-highs in receptions (8) and receiving yards (85).
* Sewo Olonilua's 8-yard scoring run was his third of the season and 13th of his career.
* Alex Delton, a graduate transfer quarterback from Kansas State who scored a touchdown against TCU last season, entered the game in the second quarter for the Horned Frogs and played one series.
Defense
* True freshman linebacker Wyatt Harris made his first collegiate start.
* Harris is the third true freshman to start on defense for TCU this season, joining cornerback Kee'yon Stewart and linebacker Dee Winters.
* Harris had a career-high five tackles, including his first career sack. He finished the game with two tackles for loss and a pair of quarterback hurries.
* Ross Blacklock had a sack to give him a team-best 3.5 on the season. He totaled two stops for a loss as part of four tackles.
