Frogs resume action Sunday afternoon
HOCKLEY, Texas – No. 8 seed TCU fell to No. 9 Iowa State and No. 5 West Virginia on Saturday as the Big 12 Match Play Tournament began at The Club at Houston Oaks.
The Horned Frogs lost to the Cyclones, 3-0-3, in the morning session and fell to the Mountaineers, 2-1-3. Mateo Fernández de Oliveira was the only Frog to win his match, defeating Logan Perkins, 4&2.
The Frogs will finish match play Sunday afternoon around 2 p.m. Their opponent will be decided after Sunday's morning session, of which TCU has a bye.
