Team Notes
* TCU improved to 111-4 under head coach Gary Patterson when allowing 17 points or less.
* TCU has an eight-game home winning streak.
* The Horned Frogs are 44-7 in home night games under Patterson.
* TCU is 84-19 in 18 seasons under Patterson at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
* Over the last five seasons, TCU's 43-15 overall record and 27-11 conference mark rank second in the Big 12.
* TCU improved to 38-13 in regular-season games following a loss under Patterson.
* Ben Banogu's 47-yard fumble return for a touchdown was TCU's second defensive score of the season and sixth in its last 19 games. It gave the Horned Frogs 42 non-offensive touchdowns over the last nine seasons.
* The Horned Frogs improved to 13-3 under Patterson when tied at the half.
* Patterson is 6-2 as a head coach against Iowa State.

* Ben Banogu's 47-yard fumble return for a touchdown was his first career score. It was also TCU's second fumble return for a touchdown this season. Alec Dunham returned a fumble 25 yards for a touchdown at SMU.
* Garret Wallow reached double digits in tackles for the second consecutive game, tying his career high with 11 stops which he first accomplished last week at Texas.
* Wallow had his second sack of the season.
* Ty Summers had a season-high nine tackles, moving him into third place on TCU's career tackles list in the 18-season tenure of head coach Gary Patterson. Summers' 296 stops only trail former teammate Travin Howard (343, 2014-17) and Jason Phillips (315, 2005-08), his position coach the previous two seasons.
* Innis Gaines had his first sack of the season and first forced fumble of the year (third of his career) which led to Banogu's 47-yard return for a touchdown.
