Gums Signs with TCU

Gums, a senior for Lodi High School located in Northern California, just advanced to the California State Championship on Monday.
"Fort Worth is my favorite city," said Gums, whose sister, Taylor, was a sports nutrition graduate assistant last season. "From the facilities at TCU to the support student-athletes receive to the teammates I'll have on the team, it seemed liked everything clicked and it felt like home as soon as I stepped on campus."
Earlier this month, Gums led Lodi to the Tri-City Athletic League Championship with a 4-under 67.
Gums is a three-time winner on the junior tour of Northern California. He recently helped Northern California defeat Southern California in the NCGA Cup by winning all of his matches.
In 2016, Gums qualified for the US Junior Amateur.
Gums is the second signee for next season. Alejandro Aguilera from Madrid, Spain signed in November. Both will be freshmen in the fall and join an experienced Horned Frogs roster that includes all six that competed this past season.
