Bruner's selection gives TCU representation in postseason play by either its team or individuals in 23 consecutive seasons.
"I'm really excited to be going to Austin to represent TCU in my first-ever showing at Regionals," Bruner said. "This opportunity is amazing! Go Frogs!"
A sophomore from Conroe, Texas, Bruner has a team-best 74.2 stroke average with a 73.2 mark over her last four tournaments. She has recorded a top-16 result in each of those events, including a runner-up finish at the Bruzzy at Maridoe and a fourth-place effort at the Clover Cup. She has five rounds of par or better in that stretch.
"I'm very proud of how far Greta has come," TCU women's golf coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin said. "She has overcome so much but is now stronger than ever. She has so much fight and the heart of a lion!"
The top-three individuals not affiliated with the six advancing teams at the Regional will move on to the NCAA Championship, May 18-23 in Stillwater, Okla.
