
Baylor Rallies Past TCU, 4-3

The Rundown
TCU grabbed the lead in the first inning with a two-out rally. A.J. Balta singled and moved to second on a wild pitch. Michael Landestoy blooped a single into center field for an RBI-single to give the Frogs the 1-0 lead.
Baylor took advantage of a lead-off single in the third to tie the game at one. A two-out single from Davis Wendzel drove in the tying run.
TCU answered in the top of the fourth with two runs. Two walks and a bunt single from Zach Humphreys had the bases loaded with nobody out. Conner Shepherd put the Frogs in front with a sacrifice fly to drive in Landestoy for a 2-1 lead. A wild pitch on ball four to Adam Oviedo allowed Johnny Rizer to score for a 3-1 lead.
Again, Baylor responded to pull back within one. Shea Langeliers opened the inning with a triple and scored on a ground out off the bat of Davion Downey to make it a 3-2 ballgame.
Baylor complete the comeback with two runs in the sixth. A pair of hits and a hit batter loaded the bases with nobody out. Jake Eissler (2-1) got a big strikeout for the first out, before giving way to Cal Coughlin. He got the double-play ball he was looking for, but an errant relay throw to first allowed two runs to score, giving Baylor the 4-3 lead.
TCU got the tying run as far as third in the ninth, but couldn't get the game-tying hit.
Charles King turned in a solid performance in his third start of the season. He allowed just two runs on six hits in five innings of work. He walked one and struck out one in the no-decision. Durbin Feltman fanned two in his lone inning of work.
