STILLWATER, Okla. – In a see-saw battle, it was Oklahoma State that prevailed with a 7-6 11th inning victory over No. 13 TCU on Friday night at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. A pair of two-out hits in the 11th propelled the Cowboys to the victory.

The Rundown
Haylen Green (1-1) rolled through the first five batters he faced before a two-out triple in the 11th put the Cowboys on the path to the win. After an intentional walk, Jake Taylor singled up the middle for the walk-off victory.

Oklahoma State on four different occasions took a lead only to see TCU battle back to tie the game. The Frogs managed just one lead in the game, that coming in the second inning after the Cowboys had opened up a 1-0 advantage on a two-out home run from Colin Simpson in the first. Connor Wanhanen's sac fly tied the game and Conner Shepherd's base hit gave the Frogs a 2-1 lead.

Trevor Boone put the Cowboys back on top with a two-out, two-run home run in the bottom of the second only to TCU rally and tie the game at three in the top of the fourth. Coby Boulware reached on a one-out infield single, stole second and scored on a Zach Humphreys two-out hit.

Again, Oklahoma State regained the lead in the bottom of the fourth after a hit batter to open the inning scored on a Taylor base hit. The lead didn't last as the Frogs made a Michael Landestoy base hit count. He scored to tie the game at four on a Boulware base hit.

The Cowboys opened up their largest lead of the night with a two-run sixth inning. Again, the Frogs had the answer as they tied the game in the top of the seventh. A.J. Balta lead off the inning with a hustle double and stole third. He scored on a passed ball to make it a one-run game. With the bases loaded, Adam Oviedo scored the tying run on a double play ball.

Jared Janczak started and allowed four runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings. Cal Coughlin worked a scoreless inning, while Augie Mihlbauer turned in 1 2/3 scoreless with four strikeouts. Durbin Feltman fanned four of the five batters he faced.
