BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- TCU women's basketball makes its first WNIT semifinal appearance when the Frogs take on Indiana at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT.
The winner will face either West Virginia or Virginia Tech in the WNIT Championship game on Saturday. The location will be announced after Wednesday's semifinals.
TCU (23-12) is the only of the four semifinalists to have played road games in the WNIT, most recently winning at South Dakota, 79-71, in the quarterfinals on Sunday. Indiana (21-14) won its quarterfinal at home on Sunday, beating UC Davis, 81-66.

Last Time Out
TCU faced its second straight tough road test and prevailed again, this time with a 79-71 win over South Dakota in the WNIT Quarterfinal at Sanford Coyote Sports Center on Sunday night.
The Frogs got 26 points from Jordan Moore on 11-of-13 shooting, exploiting South Dakota inside to the tune of a 46-26 points in the paint advantage. The Frogs withstood 11 3-pointers from South Dakota (29-7) who entered the game 17-1 at home.
Moore is now 30-of-35 shooting in TCU's four WNIT games as the Frogs have shot over 50 percent in all four games. Kianna Ray added 10 points and four assists for the Frogs in a game that was close throughout. TCU's final eight-point margin was tied for the largest cushion either team had at any point in the game.
TCU in the WNIT
The Frogs are now 9-5 all-time in the WNIT and will play in the semifinals for the first time in program history. TCU is the only of the four semifinalists to have played road games in the WNIT, winning at New Mexico in the third round and South Dakota in the quarterfinals. The Lobos and Coyotes were 19-2 and 17-1 at home, respectively, entering those two games.
TCU is averaging 81.5 points per game in the WNIT, tops among the remaining four teams. TCU also leads the four in field goal percentage (.541), field goal percentage defense (.364), 3-point percentage (.468), rebounding margin (+8.3) and assists per game (18.5).
Jordan Moore is TCU's leading scorer at 17.8 points per game and is 30-of-35 (86 percent) shooting in the tournament entering Wednesday's game.
Scouting Indiana
Indiana has cruised through its first four WNIT games, winning all four at home by at least 15 points. The Hoosiers beat UC Davis in the quarterfinals on Sunday, 81-66, marking their closest game of the tournament. Indiana beat UT Martin, Milwaukee and Purdue in its first three games, respectively.
The Hoosiers' have won 13 of their last 15 games, losing only their regular-season finale at Iowa and a Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal to Maryland. Indiana finished seventh in the Big Ten with a 9-7 record, including an eight-game winning streak from Jan. 24 to Feb. 20.
The Hoosiers' Tyra Buss is averaging 21.3 points per game in the WNIT, the best among all the remaining players. On the season, she leads Indiana at 20.7 per game while averaging 40.0 minutes per game.
The Series
TCU and Indiana have met just once, also in the postseason, with TCU winning 55-45 in the 2002 NCAA First Round. The game was played at Cameron Indoor Stadium. TCU fell to Duke, 76-66, in the second round.
Up Next
The winner will face either West Virginia or Virginia Tech in the WNIT Championship game. The Mountaineers and Hokies play in Morgantown, W.Va., also at 6 p.m. CT on Wednesday.
The championship game is scheduled to be played on Saturday at 2 p.m. CT and will air on CBS Sports Network. The game will be hosted by one of the participants and that determination will likely be made immediately following Wednesday's semifinals.
