Mazzoli, a junior from Montorfano, Italy, had one of the best rounds of his career to finish tied for sixth at the Amer Ari Invitational Saturday in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Mazzoli shot 7-under 65 in the final round, which is tied for his career low, and joined Julien Brun, Tom Hoge and Adam Rubinson as the only golfers in TCU history to have multiple rounds of 7-under par in their career.
Mazzoli and the men's golf team will next play at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif.
Marsh, a freshman from Searcy, Ark., claimed the smallbore individual championship after firing a 455.4 in the finals of the Patriot Rifle Conference championships. Marsh also finished in the top 10 of air rifle with a score of 592.
Marsh and the women's rifle team returns to the range on Feb. 17 when they host the NCAA Qualifier.
