Scholar Athletes of the Month

Fort Worth, Texas – Grayson Muehlstein of Football and Casey Lutz from Women's Rifle have been named TCU Scholar Athletes of the Month for November.
Muehlstein, a graduate student working toward his masters of Liberal Arts from Decatur, Texas, stepped in at quarterback for the Frogs late in the month of November. Over the past two games, he has completed 17 of 40 passes for 343 yards with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions.
Muehlstein and the Frogs will head off to Phoenix, Ariz., to play in the Cheez-It Bowl against the California Golden Bears on Dec 26 at 8 p.m. central.
Lutz, a junior majoring in Actuarial Mathematics from Meridian, Idaho, has been on the mark in the month of November. She placed first in Individual Air Rifle against West Virginia, earned Top Individual against Alaska, and placed first in Individual Smallbore along with winning Top Individual against Ohio State.
Lutz and the sixth ranked Frogs are finished for the Fall semester but pick back up in the Spring on Jan. 19 at home against Ohio State and Air Force.
