
Lodolo Earns Preseason All-America Honors

Junior is named to the second-team
FORT WORTH –TCU junior left-handed pitcher Nick Lodolo was tabbed a Collegiate Baseball preseason 2nd-team All-American. It marks the ninth straight season the Horned Frogs have had at least one player recognized on a preseason All-America team.
Lodolo comes into his junior campaign with a lot of expectations. He is currently ranked as a Top-20 draft prospect by multiple outlets. Lodolo is coming off a season in which he led the team with seven wins and 93 strikeouts in a team-leading 77 innings of work.
For his career, Lodolo owns a 12-5 record and has started 30 games while making 33 appearances. He has fanned 165 batters in 155 2/3 innings pitched.
The Horned Frogs open up the 2019 campaign on Feb. 15 at the MLB4 Tournament in Scottsdale, Ariz. against Cal State Fullerton.
