Do and Bruner lead TCU in Friday's opening round
San Jose del Cabo, Mexico -- The No. 25 TCU women's golf team is tied for fourth after Friday's opening round of the Battle at the Beach in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.
The Horned Frogs, looking for a third straight tournament championship, shot a 14-over-par 298 and are 11 strokes off the pace set by No. 23 Auburn.

Grace Do and Greta Bruner led TCU with 2-over 73s and are tied for 12th. They are just four strokes behind leader Kaleigh Telfer of Auburn who carded a 69.
All three of Do's birdies came in a four-hole stretch on the back nine. Bruner had a birdie and shot par on 15 holes.
Sabrina Iqbal, one of two freshmen in TCU's lineup, recorded a birdie and parred 13 holes en route to a 74. The San Jose, Calif., native is tied for 25th. Fellow freshman Valeria Pacheco had two birdies, while Annika Clark added one.
Yeji Shin, competing as an individual in her season debut, had a birdie.
