King and Park are the newest Horned Frogs
FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU women's golf coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin has announced the signing of Trinity King and Jennie Park, Golfweek's top-two ranked players in Texas for the Class of 2019, to National Letters of Intent.
"We are so grateful to have this dynamic duo signing with us," Ravaioli-Larkin said. "I have had the privilege of watching them grow into two of the most successful golfers not only in the state, but in the country."
King is an Arlington, Texas, native from Martin High School. She has won the Fort Worth Girls Junior Championship three times in the last four years. Her 2018 title saw her shoot 12-under for the tournament, including an opening-round 61, en route to a 20-stroke victory. She won by 23 shots in 2017. King is first-team all-state and a three-time District 4-6A champion. She was second at the regional championship and seventh at the state tournament.
Ranked No. 3 in the state and 39th nationally by Golfweek, King is also a 2018 honorable-mention Rolex Junior All-American. She has 12 AJGA top-10 finishes and has been the Martin High School Golfer of the Year as a freshman, sophomore and junior.
"Trinity has become such a dominant and electric player in the U.S.," Ravaioli-Larkin said. "We are thrilled to have her join the FrogFam! She is not only a tremendous athlete but a remarkable person as well. She will make an immediate impact upon her arrival and help us build upon our national prominence."
Park, from Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas, is ranked fourth in the state and No. 29 nationally in the AJGA Rolex Rankings. She finished third in the state as a freshman and junior. Park has won two AJGA tournaments and was on the 2016 Junior All-Star team as well as being a 2016 U.S. Girls' Junior participant.
"Jennie has a quiet confidence that is fun to watch," Ravaioli-Larkin said. "We are excited to have her in the FrogFam and look forward to many great things. Jennie will be a tremendous asset on our team and help us continue our success on the national scene."
