Quotes of the Game
Head Coach Eric Bell
On the game:
"As I told the team, I likened the game to a pitcher who didn't have their best stuff but gutted it out and found a way to win. We didn't show our best version of TCU soccer. We battled and we found a way to win. We kept good team off the board. It's hard to win in the league and harder to win on the road. I am happy to come away with the three points and now we move on to next week."
On the play of Yazmeen Ryan:
"There is still another level to be had with her. The version we are seeing now is quite good, but I think there is another to see. She is an impact player for us. We ask her to do a lot of things and she is coming through in the clutch."
On the back four:
"The back four really battled. I thought Tijana (Djuricek) and Cachet (Lue) where really good. The combo of Brandi (Peterson), Chaylyn (Hubbard) and Isabelle (Juarez) on the outside were excellent. They won a lot of 50/50 balls and did a lot of the dirty work to make Emily (Alvarado) look good."
