Frogs begin play at 8:30 Friday
FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU will continue it's tough schedule Friday when it begins play at the 13th annual Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in Alpharetta, Ga.
The 14-team field includes four of the current top 10, seven of the top 25 and 11 of the top 50 teams in the country, according to Golfstat rankings.
Those competing for TCU are Alejandro Aguilera, Triston Fisher, Turner MacLean, Pierre Mazier and David Ravetto. Fisher led the Frogs at last season's tournament, finishing tied for seventh with a season-best score of 6-under 210.
Competition begins at 8:30 a.m., Friday-Sunday.

THE COURSE – Par 72 | 7,017 yards
The teams will be playing the Lakeside Course at The Golf Club of Georgia. The course was ranked Best New Private Course by Golf Digest when it was built in 1991. It was ranked 12th in the state of Georgia for 2013-14. It's signature hole is a 607-yard par 5. Some PGA Tour players practice on their "lightning fast" greens in preparation of Masters week at Augusta National.

TCU finished in fifth place at the inaugural Big 12 Match Play Tournament, Oct. 12-14 in Hockley, Texas. The Frogs went 3-1-1 with wins over Kansas State, Texas Tech and West Virginia and a tie against defending national champion and No. 1 ranked Oklahoma State.

Alejandro Aguilera (Freshman – Madrid, Spain) – Shot back-to-back rounds of 5-under 67 at Pebble Beach to finish tied for 13th (6-under 210) at the Carmel Cup in his collegiate debut… Finished runner-up at the 2016 Boys Amateur Championship… Won the 2016 Inter Autonomico de Espana… Was the runner-up at Scotland's 2016 Boys Amateur Championship.
Triston Fisher (Senior – Southlake, Texas) – Led TCU at The Carmel Cup in the opener after shooting a career-best 7-under 209 at Pebble Beach… Played at the U.S. Amateur at Pebble Beach on Aug. 14… Two-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team… Posted a career-best scoring average of 73.82 last season.
