
Horned Frogs Fall at No. 24 Baylor

Despite winning the opening set, TCU could not hold on as Baylor won in four sets.
WACO, Texas – Despite winning the opening set, the TCU volleyball team could not hold on as No. 24 Baylor stormed back to take the 3-1 (18-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-17) victory on Wednesday night inside the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.
Senior Anna Walsh propelled the Horned Frogs (11-6, 3-3 Big 12) to the victory in the opening set against the Bears (11-6, 3-3 Big 12) with eight of the 11 team kills and a .667 hitting clip. TCU could not hold onto the momentum as Baylor was able to switch things up and used strong runs to control the final three sets and steal the match.
Walsh finished with 17 kills in the match to lead TCU while Katie Clark chipped in 10 kills and a team-best four blocks. Defensively, four players finished in double-digits with Berklie Baker leading the way with 16 digs, while Lexi MacLean recorded 15 digs and Allye Beth Deaton and Dani Dennison finished with 11 and 10 digs, respectively.
