
Women's XC Ranked Sixth in Preseason Poll

FORT WORTH – The TCU women's cross country team has been ranked sixth in the preseason edition of the South Central regional rankings by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), it was announced Monday.
The women started the 2016 season ranked No.14, but gradually worked their way up to No.6 to end the season.
"We are looking to continue to the progression forward that we started last year," head coach Jennifer Fazioli said. "We've got some women who are eager to prove themselves and live up to that ranking."
The Frogs open the 2017 season at the Bear Twilight Invitational in Waco, Texas, this Friday. The women's race starts at 7 p.m. with the men to follow.
