
Track & Field Receives All-Academic Honors

FORT WORTH, Texas - Six members of the TCU Track & Field teams have earned All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced this weekend. The entire women's team also received All-Academic Team honors with a collective GPA of 3.164.
A total of 752 women and 516 men received USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the 2016-2017 season, with four from the TCU women's team and two from the men's. To qualify, the student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and met at least one of the following standards:
• For the indoor season, a student-athlete must have finished the regular season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or ranked in the national top 48 (collective listing) in a relay event on the official NCAA POP list provided by TFRRS.org.
• For the outdoor season, a student-athlete must have participated in any round of the NCAA Division I Championships (including preliminary rounds).
