
Norrie Named Big 12 POW

FORT WORTH, Texas – After defeating the nation's No. 1 player and remaining undefeated on the year, junior Cameron Norrie was honored by the conference office on Wednesday morning by earning Big 12 Player of the Week honors.
This marks the fourth Big 12 weekly honor in the Auckland, New Zealand native's career and the first this season.
Norrie posted two wins over the past week and continued his undefeated streak since resuming college action in January. The highest ranked ATP player still playing collegiately, Norrie was dominant once again and posted his greatest victory of his collegiate career with a 6-2, 6-3 win over No. 1 Petros Chrysochos of Wake Forest. Prior to the Wake Forest match, Norrie got another ranked victory in singles when he downed No. 46 Ronald Slobodchikov of SMU
In singles this season, Norrie is 6-0 with all victories coming over ranked opponents and all coming in straight sets. With the win on Monday, Norrie has now defeated 40 ranked opponents in his career.
TCU will hit the road for the next four straight matches as the head out on a spring break road trip to California. The Frogs will begin by facing Cal on March 10 and Stanford on March 11, before heading to UC Santa Barbara for a showdown on March 13 and then wrap-up the trip at Pepperdine on March 16.
