RIO GRANDE, P.R. -- Emmy Martin and Annika Clark carded a 72 and 73, respectively, to lead the TCU women's golf team to a third-place standing after Monday's second round of the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.

With a 14-over-par 590, the Horned Frogs are just 7 strokes behind leader Furman. Tuesday's final round will have a 7:30 a.m. AST, 5:30 a.m. CST, shotgun start with live scoring available at BirdieFire.com.
"I'm really proud of the way we battled today," TCU head women's golf coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin said. "It was a little bit more of a struggle, scores were higher but we battled all the way through and made quite a few birdies which helps.
"We moved up the leaderboard a little which is what we're looking for. I'm really excited about our final 18 holes tomorrow and to go out and thrive and attack."
Martin, at 1-over 145, is 6 strokes behind leader Haylee Harford of Furman who's at 5-under 139. Martin, a junior from Odessa, Fla., was 2-under with two birdies over her final 11 holes.
Clark, who had a double bogey on two of her opening three holes, answered back with three consecutive birdies and four in a 10-hole stretch. The Highlands, Texas, native is tied for 12th at 2-over 146.
Brooke McDougald is tied for 23rd at 5-over 149. Her 74 included a birdie as well as par on 15 holes.
Brooke Graebe had a 77 for TCU with one birdie, while Kelly McGovern contributed two birdies.
