Williams, the senior guard from Waco, Texas recorded two double-doubles to lead TCU to a 2-0 week. In teams 92-66 win over Yale last Friday, he had 11.5 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and three steals in a 92-66 win over Yale. He also shot 58.8 percent from the field and 40 percent from 3-point range.
The Horned Frogs will look to continue the nation's longest winning streak when it hosts Dallas-Fort Worth rival SMU this Tuesday at 8 p.m.
Walsh, a Grapevine, Texas native, helped push the TCU volleyball team into the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) Elite 8 with her career-high 25 kills during the team's comeback against North Texas. It was her 11th time this this season to lead the Frogs in kills, and she became the first TCU player to score 20+ kills in a match this season. Her performance this season has also gotten her named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Southwest Region team.
The Horned Frogs will host the semifinal round of the NIVC on Tuesday, Dec. 12, inside The Rickel. They take on Texas Tech at 7 p.m.
