Buckingham, Hunt Named Student-Athletes of the Month

FORT WORTH, Texas – Abigail Buckingham and Cole Hunt were named TCU Student-Athletes of the Month for November.
Buckingham, a redshirt freshman outside hitter from San Antonio, Texas, led the Horned Frogs volleyball team with 3.15 kills per set and 85 total kills. She recorded double-digit kills in three of the matches played including a career-high 19 against Wyoming in the first round of the NIVC. Buckingham also picked up 19 digs and totaled 6.0 blocks during the month for 88.0 points and 3.25 points per set during the eight matches in November.
Hunt, a graduate senior tight end from El Campo, Texas, earned second-team All-Big 12 honors from the conference coaches after totaling seven receptions for 63 yards. With his receiving and blocking, Hunt played a key part in the Horned Frogs earning a spot in the Big 12 Championship game.
