
Aguilera Signs with TCU

FORT WORTH, Texas - TCU head coach Bill Montigel announced the signing of Alejandro Aguilera to the men's golf team on Wednesday.
The Madrid, Spain native holds a world amateur ranking of 186 and finished runner-up at the 2016 Boys Amateur Championship.
"I feel that Alejandro is a perfect fit for TCU and our golf team," said Montigel. "He has the best short game of anyone that I've recruited and I'm really excited to have him in Fort Worth."
Aguilera won the 2016 Inter Autonomico de Espana and was the runner-up at Scotland's 2016 Boys Amateur Championship. He was also the runner-up at the 2016 Campeonato Abierto de Madrid and was third at the 2016 Doral-Publix Junior Classic.
Aguilera won Spain's Quadrangular Match and the Spanish Championship Under 18 and scored a top 10 finish at the Spanish Amateur Copa S M El Rey.
