NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -- The TCU women's basketball team will close out the Warner Center Marriott Thanksgiving Classic when it takes on Idaho in the tournament's title game on Saturday night. The Frogs and Vandals will tip off at 9:30 p.m. CT inside the Matadome.
TCU (4-1) is coming off of a 68-59 win over Arizona while Idaho (2-2) knocked off tournament host CSUN, 80-75.

Last Time Out
TCU opened its tournament with a 68-59 win over Arizona on Friday night. TCU announced before the game that sophomore transfer Jayde Woods had her eligibility waiver approved by the NCAA, and her presence was felt. The Yorba Linda, Calif., native recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals in her TCU debut.
Toree Thompson led the Frogs in scoring with 14 points, including a 6-of-6 effort at the free throw line. The Frogs other California native, Amy Okonkwo from Rancho Cucamonga, contributed 12 points off the bench. She has scored in double figures in every game this season.
The Frogs smothered Arizona in the first half, holding the Wildcats to 17 points, including just five in the second quarter, for a 33-17 lead at the break. Arizona, however, stormed back in the second half, and actually took a lead before TCU closed the game on a 12-2 run to claim the victory.
Scouting Idaho
The Vandals are 2-2 on the season, with all four games coming on the road. Idaho knocked off Colorado State in its season opener, then fell at Ohio State and Abilene Christian before beating CSUN on Friday.
Idaho is led by junior guard Mikayla Ferenz who averages 22.0 points per game and senior Geraldine McCorkell who scored 18.5 points per game.
The Series
TCU leads the all-time series over Idaho, 3-1, but the two haven't met since the 1992-93 season.
Raegan Pebley is 10-10 in her head-coaching career against Idaho, with all 20 of those meetings coming during her nine seasons at Utah State. Nine of those meetings came against current Idaho head coach Jon Newlee who is in his 10th season, with Pebley's Utah State squad posting a 7-2 record.

The Frogs will have a break before they return to the court. TCU's next game will be back in Schollmaier Arena on Friday when the Frogs host Alabama in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Fort Worth ISD Day with tipoff scheduled for 12 p.m.
