Jayde Woods Ruled Immediately Eligible for TCU

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. -- TCU sophomore guard Jayde Woods, a transfer from Oregon, will be immediately eligible to play for the Horned Frogs, the NCAA announced Friday in an approval of TCU's eligibility waiver for Woods.
With the news, Woods is expected to dress for Friday night's game against Arizona in the Warner Center Marriott Thanksgiving Classic in Northridge, Calif. Woods has enrolled at TCU since January when she transferred from Oregon. The Yorba Linda, Calif., native played in TCU's four games in Australia in August, starting three of them.
Friday's game will be TCU's first in back-to-back nights. The Frogs will take on either tournament host CSUN or Idaho on Saturday night. Woods will first play at Schollmaier Arena when TCU returns home to host Alabama in the Big 12/SEC Challenge on Friday, December 1.
