3-Pointers
1. The Horned Frogs are playing in their first Thanksgiving tournament since 2014 when they traveled to Boulder, Colo. The Horned Frogs lost their first game at that tournament to Colorado State before rebounding to beat Missouri State.
2. TCU last played in California in 2011-12, its final season in the Mountain West. The Horned Frogs opened their conference slate at San Diego State with a 61-46 loss on Jan. 11, 2012. The Frogs last nonconference game in California was a 75-72 loss at Fresno State on Dec. 4, 2010.
3. Okonkwo is the only Frog to score in double figures in all four games this season. However, at 13.3 points per game she is TCU's third leading scorer. Jordan Moore leads the Frogs in scoring at 17.5 per game with Amber Ramirez second at 15.0 per game.
Scouting Arizona
The Wildcats opened their season with wins over Iona and Utah State but fell at Loyola Marymount, 84-70, on Tuesday. The Wildcats had a tough second half, allowing LMU to score 57 points in the final 20 minutes.
Arizona has used predominately just a six-player rotation this season with four players averaging over 30 minutes per game. Six players average over 21 minutes per game with five of them averaging double-figure scoring.
Marlee Kyles, who has come off the bench in all three games, leads the Wildcats at 13.7 points per game. Sam Thomas leads the team in rebounding at 8.7 per game and in assists at 4.3 per game.
The Series
Arizona leads the all-time series over TCU, 1-0. That lone meeting came on Nov. 19, 2006 in College Park, Md., at the BTI Classic where Arizona won 59-56 in overtime.
Raegan Pebley is 1-0 against Arizona. Her 2010-11 Utah State squad beat the Wildcats, 103-95, in the 2011 WNIT First Round, Pebley's first postseason game as a head coach.
