Martin, a native of Odessa, Fla., led wire-to-wire over four rounds to take medalist honors at the 62nd Harder Hall Women's Invitational on Saturday. The junior battled through weather elements that included intermittent heavy rain and recorded a pair of birdies on the back nine to finish strong with a final-round 74. She was at 2-under 286, including a third-round 69, for the 72-hole tournament and a 5-stroke victory.
Martin and the women's golf team will hit the course next on Feb. 12 for the Lady Puerto Rico Classic.
On the men's side, Robinson scored 18 points as the Horned Frogs basketball team beat Oklahoma 60-57 on Tuesday. Robinson started and finished the rally that helped TCU earn their first conference win of the season. After a Robinson layup with 13:45 remaining in the game, TCU went on a 21-6 run. The sophomore from Fort Worth also led the team in assists (8) against the Sooners, while leading the team in points (17) in the following game against West Virginia.
Up next, TCU (12-3, 1-2) plays at Texas on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 7 p.m.
