Baseball To Host Fall Game Friday

The Blue Jays are an elite Canadian baseball club that features 13 teams ranging in age 13-18. The 18U squad is well-known for its fall month-long tour through the United States playing NCAA and NJCAA squads. This year’s fall schedule started Sept. 20 at Central Michigan. They have made stops at Ball State, Missouri State and St. Louis. Following Friday’s contest against the Horned Frogs, the remaining schedule features the likes of Notre Dame, Purdue, Georgia Tech, UAB and Florida State.
Preparations for TCU’s 2017 campaign began Sept. 13. Fall practice is slated to run through Oct. 23. While the bulk of the 2016 squad returns, TCU welcomed 12 newcomers in the fall, a group that was recently ranked eighth nationally by Collegiate Baseball. The 2017 season officially starts Feb. 17 when TCU hosts Penn State.
FORT WORTH – The TCU baseball team will host a fall baseball game against the Ontario Blue Jays on Friday night at Lupton Stadium. The game, which is free and open to the public, will start at 6 p.m.
