ANNAPOLIS, Md. -TCU will look to build on its overtime victory over Maryland when it takes on Navy Sunday afternoon at the Glenn Warner Soccer Facility. Due to projected weather issues, the game has been moved to an 11 a.m. (CT) start.
ABOUT THE HORNED FROGS
TCU is coming off a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory at Maryland Friday night. Michelle Prokof's eighth career game-winning goal came in the 99th minute as she completed a stellar opening night. She also assisted on Meghan Murphy's season-opening goal in the first half. Katie Lund took over in goal in the second half and made three stellar saves to help lead the Frogs to the win.
ABOUT THE MIDS
Navy dropped a 2-1 decision to No. 5 Stanford Friday night in its season opener. Stanford opened the scoring in the 54th minute and tacked on an insurance goal in the 77th minute. Cadie Higginson tallied for the Mids in the 78th minute to make the final 12 minutes interesting. In goal, Dayton Wetherby made five stops on seven shots directed at her.
