TCU Closes Play at NCAA Regional

The 27th-ranked Horned Frogs, with four freshmen in their five-player lineup, finished just five strokes out of a top-six finish needed to advance to the NCAA Championship.
"We're obviously very disappointed," TCU head women's golf coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin said. "Once we made the turn and got out our last-day nerves and tightness, we played like ourselves.
"They battled hard, and we learned a ton. This team has grown so much this year, and the future is very, very bright!"
Brooke McDougald led the Horned Frogs Saturday with a 73. The Woodlands, Texas, native had a pair of birdies and recorded par on 13 holes. It was her second 73 of the Regional.
Brooke Graebe was TCU's top finisher, tying for 24th after a final-round 75. She closed play with a birdie on 18, one of her two on the day.
Annika Clark and Sabina Pena had 77s for the Horned Frogs. Clark shot par on 13 holes. Pena closed the front nine and back nine with birdies.
Kelly McGovern had a pair of birdies over a three-hole stretch on the back nine.
