FORT WORTH -- Three former TCU men's golfers will tee it up at Colonial Country Club this week when the PGA Tour makes its annual stop in Fort Worth for the Dean & DeLuca Invitational.
J.J. Henry (1998 graduate), Tom Hoge (2011) and Franklin Corpening (2008) will all be a part of the field when Thursday's first round begins just minutes from TCU's campus.
A 15-year tour veteran, Henry has made the cut in each of his last two tournaments, including a top-30 finish at the prestigious THE PLAYERS Championship just two weeks ago. The first three-time All-American in TCU golf history, Henry will tee off from hole No. 1 at 8:06 a.m. on Thursday.
Hoge has made the cut in three of his last four PGA Tour events, including a top-10 finish just a month ago at the Valero Texas Open in San Antonio. The former All-American, who has played full-time on the PGA Tour for the last two seasons, will begin his tournament at 1:24 p.m. from hole No. 1.
Corpening, a Fort Worth native, will be playing in his third career PGA Tour event, and his first since 2014. He comes into the event having won last week on the Adams Pro Tour and will open his first round at 1:24 p.m. when he tees off on hole No. 10.
Television coverage of the 70th Dean & DeLuca Invitational beings on the Golf Channel at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The Golf Channel will have coverage of all four rounds, while CBS will air the third and fourth rounds beginning at 2 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
