FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU has announced a future home-and-home football series with North Carolina.
The Horned Frogs will play in Chapel Hill Sept. 13, 2025, with the Tar Heels coming to Amon G. Carter Stadium Sept. 12, 2026.
TCU and North Carolina have met just three times in their history with the Tar Heels winning all three games. The most recent contest was a 31-10 North Carolina victory in Fort Worth in 1997. The Horned Frogs dropped 27-17 and 21-14 decisions in Chapel Hill during the 1994 and 1940 seasons, respectively.
TCU has not faced an ACC opponent since 2009, when it won 30-14 at Virginia in the season opener and then 14-10 at Clemson two weeks later.
TCU is in the midst of a nonconference home-and-home stretch that began with Minnesota (2014-15) and Arkansas (2016-17) and continues with Ohio State (2018-19), Cal (2020-21), Colorado (2022-23), Stanford (2024, 2027) and North Carolina (2025-26).
