
TCU Concludes Art Adamson Invitational

MANSFIELD, Texas -- The TCU men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded competition at the Art Adamson Invitational in Mansfield on Saturday night.
After the three-day meet, the men's squad ended up placing fourth (out of six) with 352, while the women's team placed sixth with 162 points.
Overall, the Horned Frogs had seven athletes swim in the "B" finals on Saturday.
Junior Connor Dobbs earned an NCAA "B" cut time in the 1650 free as he placed third with a time of 15:29.73.
Freshman Elise Forzley kicked off the final night as she took home third in the 200 back "B" finals with a time of 1:59.72. Freshman Radu Duican followed that up with a second-place finish of his own in the men's 200 back, clocking in at 1:47.49.
Sophomore Ross Sullivan led TCU in the 100-yard freestyle with a fourth-place time of 45.00 in the "B" finals.
Junior Jakub Swierczynski continued his successful first year with the Frogs as he clocked in with a 200 breast finals time of 2:02.00 in the 200 breast, placing fourth. Finishing right behind him was freshman Migs Martin, who took home sixth behind a time of 2:04.68.
Sophomore Ally Robertson recorded a seventh-place finish in the "B" finals of the 200 fly with a time of 2:04.05, while junior Carlos Hunnicutt placed sixth in the men's 200 fly at 1:50.30.
The meet concluded with the 400-yard freestyle relay. Freshmen Claire Munster, Madie Sandberg, Amanda Key and sophomore Micaela Roemer led the women's effort with a 12th-place time of 3:26.30. The men's quartet of Sullivan, senior Garrett Hills, junior John Smith and sophomore Jonathan Drewes rounded out the night with an eighth-place finish at 3:00.50.
TCU will return to the pool for the Incarnate Word Invitational in San Antonio on Dec. 17-19.
