
Football Places 11 on Academic All-Big 12 Team

IRVING, Texas -- Eleven TCU football student-athletes have received Academic All-Big 12 recognition.
First-team honorees are deep snapper Matt Boggs (business management), defensive end Josh Carraway (masters of liberal arts), safety Caylin Moore (economics), offensive guard Patrick Morris (accounting) and punter Adam Nunez (strategic communication).
Representing the Horned Frogs on the second team are center Garrett Altman (combined science), wide receiver Deanté Gray (masters of liberal arts), wide receiver Travis Hanes (business management), place-kicker Brandon Hatfield (sports broadcasting), offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom (economics) and safety Steve Wesley (marketing).
Carraway, who has a 4.0 grade-point average, and Gray are graduate students. They received their TCU degree in May 2016.
Moore is a Rhodes Scholar finalist. He will interview for it Saturday in his hometown of Los Angeles.
