Double-Figure Outputs
In TCU's first two games, the Frogs have had five or more players score in double-figures in each contest. Freshmen Desmond Bane and Jaylen Fisher have now opened their careers with back-to-back outings of 10 or more points. Bane lit up the scoreboard for a game-high 19 points on 6-of-10 from the field against Alabama State.
Dishing The Rock
TCU recorded a total of 29 assists in its last outings. The 29 assists were the most since the Purple and White dished out 28 against Maryland-Eastern Shore on Dec. 21, 2004. Since 2004, the Frogs have only had 25 or more assists in a single-game a total of six times. TCU's 29 assists are also tied for the second-most in the Big 12 Conference this season as West Virginia and Iowa State tallied 29 and 31, respectively.
Closing A Half Strong
In TCU's 98-62 victory over Alabama State, the Frogs closed the first half on an 18-2 run. In each of TCU's first two games, the Purple and White have combined to outscore the opposition, 28-10, in the final 5 minutes of the opening frame. During that stretch, TCU has forced its opponent into a combined nine turnovers between the two games.
