IRVING, Texas -- The Big 12 Conference has announced TCU defensive end Josh Carraway as its Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in Saturday's win at Kansas.
All three of Carraway's sacks came in the fourth quarter, including back-to-back snaps on Kansas' final drive. The three sacks were the most by a Horned Frog in a game dating back to Devonte Fields in 2012 against Grambling State.
Carraway's four tackles for loss marked the highest total by a TCU player since Chucky Hunter had 4 1/2 versus Iowa State in 2014.
A graduate student from Flower Mound, Texas, Carraway totaled eight tackles to tie a career high.
