Washburn had a night to remember against Texas. In a game that came down to the final possession, the junior forward blocked Texas' shot with 3 seconds left and then heaved the ball down to the court to seal the victory. A minute prior to the celebration, he hit what turned out to be the game-winning shot to put the Frogs up 58-57.
Washburn hit 5-of-9 from the field, ending the game with 14 points.
The TCU men's basketball team is set to take on No. 22 Baylor in Waco Wednesday night, beginning at 7:20 p.m. CT. The game will be on ESPNews.
Medley, an All-American candidate, led TCU with 16 points in their game against Baylor and topped the stat chart with 19 points against Oklahoma last week. In Waco, the senior guard hit 4-of-7 from beyond the arc.
The Frogs return to the court on Wednesday night in the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena as they host Texas Tech. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. CT and will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest Plus.
