FORT WORTH, Texas – TCU men's golfer Andrew Presley was named a 2015 PING Honorable Mention All-America selection on Friday following his seventh-place finish at the NCAA Championship.
Presley, who played his senior season at TCU during the 2014-15 campaign after transferring from LSU, became the 18th Horned Frog to earn All-America distinction and claimed the fifth All-America selection in the last seven seasons for the program.
The Fort Worth native helped lead the Horned Frogs to their fourth all-time top-10 finish at the NCAA Championship in May in Bradenton, Fla., going 3-under over 72 holes to become the seventh golfer to finish in the top-10 individually in program history.
Presley played all 13 tournaments in his senior season, earning a 72.56 stroke average with four top-10 finishes while leading the squad with 19 rounds of par or better.
