TCU Student-Athletes Receive Diplomas Saturday

FORT WORTH, Texas - Over 50 student-athletes walked across the stage and received their diplomas Saturday during the 2015 Spring Commencement ceremonies at the Fort Worth Convention Center.

The spring group is highlighted by a number of individuals who either have already concluded or are still compiling accomplished careers as TCU student-athletes. Numerous Horned Frogs earned all-conference honors, and several student-athletes were named All-Americans during their TCU careers.

All-America honorees include Ramone Bailey (Men's Track & Field), Alexi Child (Equestrian), Catherine Green (Rifle), Kaitlin Perry (Equestrian), Stefanie Tan (Women's Tennis), Joshua Washington (Men's Track & Field) and Lorraine Ugen (Women's Track & Field) who closed her career as a two-time NCAA Champion and seven-time All-America honoree.

Individual conference champions who received their diplomas Saturday were Bailey and Ugen.

The men's and women's swimming & diving and football programs graduated the most student-athletes with seven apiece, including football's Anthony Hickman who completed the NCAA's Degree Completion Award Program after last lettering for the Horned Frogs during the 1992 campaign. Two student-athletes in equestrian's Hadley Woodruff and women's tennis' Tan graduated with Master's degrees Saturday.
