
TCU Opens Play at Redhawk Invitational

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - The TCU men's golf team sits in fourth place following the opening two rounds at the Redhawk Invitational on Monday at Chambers Bay Golf Course.
The Horned Frogs carded back to back rounds of 16-over and enter Tuesday's final round seven strokes back of third and nine back of second-place Seattle. No. 10 Washington leads the field at 1-under.
Senior Julien Brun led TCU with rounds of 3-over 73 and an even-par 70 and is currently sixth individually, seven strokes off the lead. The Antibes, France, native birdied two of the first three holes on the back nine in Monday's second round en route to his fifth round of par or better in his last six outings.
Fellow senior Andrew Presley also sits in the top 15 at 7-over following rounds of 72 and 75. The Fort Worth product sank an eagle for one of four holes under par in Monday's opening round.
Chelso Barrett (+10), Giulio Castagnara (+13) and Paul Barjon (+16) rounded out the scoring for the Horned Frogs.
