April 30, 2015 STUDY TIME
It's amazing to think our spring semester has already reached its end! Dead days began today on campus with final exams commencing Monday. We wish all our students the very best on a strong finish in the classroom.
UPGRADE TIME
Thank you again for your support of our football program. We had an incredible season ticket and parking renewal rate of 97 percent this year. It's truly a great time to be a Horned Frog! For those of you who requested an opportunity to upgrade or change your football season tickets or parking, we will begin this process on Monday, May 11. All selection dates and times are determined according to priority rank in our Horned Frogs Priority Points System. You should receive an email the week of Monday, May 4. This email will include your specific date and time to select new seats or parking through the Ballena online system.

FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS/PARKING PRE-SALES
Fans wanting to purchase season tickets or parking for the first time, or buy extras, should expect more information to be emailed in early June. If you have not already asked to be on our pre-sales wait list, please call the ticket office at (817) 257-FROG (3764) or CLICK HERE.
POSTSEASON BOUND
Congratulations to our women's golf and men's and women's tennis programs for earning NCAA at-large bids earlier this week. Women's golf is in the postseason for the 19th time in the last 20 years. They'll begin play May 7 in St. George, Utah. Men's tennis, tabbed a No. 5 national seed, will host a Regional at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center. Our opening match is May 8 versus Marist. NC State and Tulsa are the other schools headed to our Regional. Women's tennis will travel to College Station and face Notre Dame on May 9.

HONOR ROLL
Last night was one of my favorite events of the year as we held our annual All-Sports Banquet in the Amon G. Carter Stadium Champions Club. Congratulations to the many student-athletes recognized! Football's Trevone Boykin and women's basketball standout Zahna Medley were honored as our Pop Boone Male and Female Athletes of the Year. Men's tennis player Facundo Lugones and equestrian's Alexi Child were our Dutch Meyer Male and Female Scholar-Athletes of the Year. Preston Morrison from our baseball team received the Chancellor's Award. For a complete listing of all our award winners, please CLICK HERE.
ON THE DOCKET
Our track and field program hosts the Horned Frog Invitational on Saturday. Make sure to enjoy our new bleachers at the Lowdon Track and Field Complex. It will be our final meet before heading to the Big 12 Championship on May 15. Our men are now ranked 23rd nationally. Baseball, at No. 4 in the polls, travels to Morgantown this weekend for a three-game series at West Virginia.

NAME THE MOVIE QUOTE
Last Week's Answer: Adam Sandler, in The Wedding Singer, said, "Please get out of my Van Halen T-shirt before you jinx the band and they break up."

This Week: "The Dukes are going to corner the entire frozen orange juice market!"
COMPLIANCE CORNER
Every year, the Ocean State University sports communication staff conducts a poll of its senior student-athletes. Included in the poll are questions regarding their favorite restaurant and clothing line. Is it permissible to include these commercial establishment/product questions in the poll?
Yes with conditions. NCAA Official Interpretation - 4/20/15 - Student-Athlete Providing Opinions on a Commercial Product or Service (I) - states that a student-athlete may provide an opinion about a commercial product or service, as long as no individual associated in any manner with the commercial product or service is involved in directing the student-athlete to issue the opinion, and the student-athlete does not receive any benefits from any source in conjunction with his or her opinion.
