TCU Completes Play in Dallas

DALLAS -- The TCU women's golf team shot a 306 and finished 11th after Saturday's final round of the SMU/Dallas Athletic Club Invitational.
Alexandra Bonetti shot par on 14 holes and had a birdie in carding a 74 to complete play with a 9-over-par 225. She tied for 20th individually and was the top Horned Frog finisher. It was the 13th career top-20 result for the senior from Paris, France.
Fellow TCU senior Kortnie Maxoutopoulis tied for 23rd at 226. Her final-round 77 included a birdie as well as shooting par on 13 holes.
Kelly McGovern birdied her final hole, one of two birdies on the day, en route to a 76 for TCU. Chaney Uhles also had two birdies in posting a 79.
With an 11-over 875, No. 14 Oklahoma State won the team title by eight strokes over No. 37 Purdue.
The Boilermakers' August Kim defeated Yupaporn Kawinpakorn of Kansas on the second playoff hole for the individual title.
The Horned Frogs return to action April 24 when they begin play at the Big 12 Championship in San Antonio.
