FORT WORTH - Due to poor field conditions, TCU's Sunday doubleheader against Cal Poly has been cancelled. The Horned Frogs will return to the diamond on Tuesday night when they host the nationally-ranked Rice Owls at 6:30. Rice will be making its first trip to Fort Worth since 2001. The Owls have never played at Lupton Stadium, which opened in 2003.
The cancelled series against Cal Poly is TCU's first since a series at Air Force in 2009 was cancelled due to blizzard conditions.
TCU is 7-1 on the season and ranked in the top-10 of all the national polls.
