PALM DESERT, Calif. - The TCU men's golf team resumes its spring slate at the 2015 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate beginning on Friday at The Classic Club.
The Horned Frogs have claimed three top-five finishes in the season's opening five tournaments, including their last action at the Amer Ari Invitational where they placed higher than five top-25 squads. TCU climbed four spots in the final day for its fifth-place showing, as all five Frogs in the lineup carded rounds under par.
Filling out the lineup card for the Frogs this weekend at the par-72, 7,305-yard course is senior Julien Brun, junior Paul Barjon, sophomores Chelso Barrett and Giulio Castagnara and senior Andrew Presley.
Brun returns to the site of two of his school-record nine tournament victories, as the Antibes, France, native has won the event in each of his two appearances. Brun, who matched his career low with a 64 in the final round in Hawaii, has a 68.17 stroke average at the Desert Intercollegiate with four of six rounds in the 60's.
