TCU Announces Athletes of the Week

Trevor Johnson opened last weekend's matchup against No. 58 New Mexico and No. 40 Tulsa in doubles with sophomore Hudson Blake. The dynamic duo got off to a quick start defeating both teams by scores of 6-3. Johnson improved to 3-0 this season in doubles with Blake. Johnson also competed in singles against UNM player Augustus Ge, picking up the victory 7-5, 6-2. The freshman currently leads the Frogs with single match victories this year.
The No. 17 men's tennis team returns to the court for the ITA National Team Indoor Championship on Thursday, Feb. 12, in Chicago.
In the Patriot Conference Championship on February 8th, Mindy Miles scored a perfect 600 in the air rifle to claim PRC All-Conference honors. Miles is one of five in NCAA history to shoot a perfect score and is the second in TCU history. She shares the team air rifle lead with a 590-point average and has shot a 590 or better in five of her nine matches this season.
Miles and the women's rifle squad is home on Sat, Feb. 14, for a bout with UTEP.
