Connolly Earns Big 12 Weekly Honors

FORT WORTH - TCU senior Kristen Connolly was named the women's Big 12 diver of the week, the conference announced Thursday.

Connolly garnered the award after earning her fourth first-place score of the season in the meet against Kansas last week.

The San Antonio, Texas native swept the two diving events in the Big 12 matchup. On the diving boards, Connolly scored a first-place score of 258.97 in the 1-meter dive and followed that up with a 270.60 in the 3-meter dive.

The senior diver has added to an already impressive start to the 2015-16 season. Connolly broke the school record in the 1-meter dive with a 321.30 score to begin the year.
