Eleven Frogs Named Academic All-Big 12

IRVING, Texas -- Eleven TCU football players have received Academic All-Big 12 recognition.
Deep snapper Matt Boggs (business management), tight end Bryson Burtnett (finance - real estate), tight end Buck Jones (mechanical engineering) and offensive guard Patrick Morris (accounting) are first-team honorees.
Representing the Horned Frogs on the second team are offensive tackle Luke Benuska (masters of liberal arts), safety Michael Downing (marketing), center Joey Hunt (marketing), tight end Dominic Merka (masters of liberal arts), offensive tackle Joseph Noteboom (economics), place-kicker Jaden Oberkrom (psychology) and linebacker Ty Summers (pre-major).
