Cross Country Heads to Longhorn Invitational

Last week at the A&M Invitational, sophomore Bailey Sullivan led the women's team for the second consecutive week. Sullivan finished the 6K with a career-best 21:40.5, placing 34th. Sophomore Nicole Hicks also improved on her career-best time after clocking in at 22:22.4.
The men's team saw much improvement from last year. Sophomores Matthew Brown (25:27.6), Dylan Larkin (25:38.8), and Dillon Smith (26:04.6) recorded career-bests in the 8K at College Station. Juniors Shane Murray (27:02.5), Aaron Reichner (27:08.1), and Ryan Spetnagel (27:33.6) also finished with career-best times.
TCU looks to continue improving as they lace up for Friday. Action is set to begin at 6 p.m. with the women's 6,000-meter race, followed by the men's 8,000-meter race at 6:30 p.m.
Following this week's race, the Horned Frogs will head to San Antonio on Oct. 10 to compete in the Incarnate Word Invite.
