TCU Announces Athletes of the Week

The men's tennis team earned a spot in the 2015 ITA National Team Indoor Championships thanks to a 4-1 victory over LSU. The Horned Frogs will take part in the national tournament for the first time since 2001. The men's squad also toppled No. 10 Texas A&M with a 4-2 victory in the first round of the 2015 ITA National Kick-Off Weekend.
Up next for the men's team is the Challenger of Dallas 100K Pro Circuit Event in Dallas on Saturday, Jan. 31.
For the first time in program history, the women's tennis team had a 4-2 victory over No. 11 Texas A&M in College Station on Sunday afternoon. The win also marks the second straight team victory over a ranked opponent and first over a top 15 ranked team since 2006.
The women's tennis team also had a 4-0 victory over No. 35 Houston in the first round of the 2015 ITA National Kick-Off Weekend at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center.
The women's squad travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for a date with the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 5 p.m.
